Hi, I'm Pedro!
<web developer>
I’m a Fullstack web developer studying at Trybe and I’ve been falling in love with problem solving and programming logic! I enjoy trying to write clean and organized code, looking for innovative solutions to new challenges.
Prior to migrating to programming, I got a degree in Biology - a period in which I volunteered in research labs and was a teaching assistant - and also worked as a Data Journalist. It was at this time that I got in touch with SQL and Python, which were among the tools I used to analyse data. I realized I really enjoyed the logic of it! I always worked in collaboration with other journalists, which made me value communication, autonomy and, very important, trust in my colleagues.
Since March 2022 I’ve been dedicating myself fully to web development, and so far in my journey I’ve developed over 30 projects as part of the Trybe curriculum, from simple HTML and CSS pages to complex Front-end apps and Back-end APIs. Part of the experience involved coding in teams. At these moments, I worked on my teamwork skills and also had the opportunity to practice agile methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban.
Other than programming, I’m passionate about videogames and music - not a day goes by without me listening to one of my favourite bands or discovering a new one. I’m very homely, I love to cook (nothing fancy, just everyday food) and spend time with my dogs and my partner
